          Alright, thanks and good point. How long do you think I can put it off until I seriously damage the engine? The ticking sound is pretty minor but in the past 2 weeks its gotten a little louder.

              Clean the black with a mild detergent like greased lightning then use some mothers back to black on the handles. Follow the directions on the bottle, you’d be surprised how many people don’t do this. Good luck. (Detailer for 7 years)
