      The system works fine. It gives these problems only when it’s turned off. When I checked the blower motor is never turned on while I had it turned off. Now, it may need to be running for a while before it starts randomly blowing for a quick second.

        Well, I figured it out. And I feel like a doof ha.

        When having lunch I had a thought that maybe….maybe I mounted the end links on the wrong side of the mounting bracket for them. I look down there and sure enough the side of the bracket I had them mounted on bulges out right above the link. Thus when hitting a bump the top of the link would hit this part of the bracket and make the noise.

        Noise fixed, doofiness receded and all is well!

          It has 90,000 some miles. As for the bushings I don’t know when they were last replaced. I’ve never done it and had the truck for about six years now. I was going to replace them anyway before the noise started ….but has distracted me somewhat.
