I already pulled the master off the booster to see if the booster was Mis aligned with the Pedal 8 depressed like normal. What is confusing me is that when you pump the brakes the pressured games but won’t bleed off . If I go out and pump the brakes 5 times the brakes end up holding

Yes it is the same engine I was talking about previously. 02 ranger 3.0. I did test with a guage and I’m leaning towards the worn bearings. When starting from a cold start idle is about 18 and as the ending warms up to operating temp it slowly decreases until it’s final rest is about 3-5 I’m sure the decrease is just the oil thinin out as it warms up. I have already checked the oil pump and pick up and the both appear to be fine

Must have something to do with the acceleration. I can rev all day in park and neutral with nothing

That’s where my mind was goin as it doesn’t seem to have anything else wrong. What’s concerning to me and kinda confusing is the only first gear part.

I have checked all fuses that work in that area or anything that might even come in contact with anything around it. I went a little bit over board. I have searched through 2 different haynes manuals one that is specified for the dodge stratus and one that is for the stratus, avenger, and sebring. But neither one tells me anything about inside the dash.

I tried to watch the video from Briansmobile1 but it has an error can anyone post the site address.

Does anyone know if the is a relay for the mode door motor

From what you are describing it sounds like your ball joints are bad. I would try pushing down on the hood/fender to see if it makes the noise then. If it does first try putting grease in upper and lower ball joint . If the noise goes away I would still consider replacing them. You can also check for the problem by jacking the tire up and pulling on the top and bottom to see if there is any play it the ball joints. As well as left to right to check the tie rod ends.

Thanks for the reply but I know that the vent control is electric the only cables I have are the hot and cold and the fresh and recycled air controls. The link you gave me didn’t help I have looked at that page about 5 times now. But if you have any other advise I’m up to try it.

I would check all your fluids and see if any are empty it does look like a break line, power steering, and or a/c line. Hard to tell
