This may sound silly but are your cv’s oK? Other wise i’d guess maybe you bought another bad tranny, which would suck major ass I know, maybe pull one of the trannys apart and inspect for obvious damage.
Also, get someone to step on the clutch while you watch the slave cylinder, make sure it goes through its full range of motion, every car is different, for example my slave should move bit over an inch and a half. If not you may have hydrolic issues, whether its you master or slave, maybe even a leak in the line.
Just throwing it out there.

^this was my suspision also, but i see it as nearly imposible for them to come loose considering i used loctite red and torqued them to oem spec. But i will find out soon enough as i will have to drop the box.
I just drained the oil, looks like silver paint. ie- gearbox is ruined lol:
Yikes

no not really, it’s known this (y2m3) transmission has 2nd gear synchro problems and Second and fourth gear are susceptible to braking with aftermarket clutch and power increase.
Im more wanting to know if anyone has experienced this sound before, and what the problem was. Basically just so i have a heads up on what im looking at.
At the moment it’s looking like a full transmission rebuild. $2500 down the drain, oh well, i was eventually going to have it overhauled, just not this soon lol. Not too mention all the extra damage there will be now.
Anyway before i jump to conclusions, i will drain the fluid and see what it looks like.
Thanks for the reply Raistain77

More then likely a worn wheel bearing, i have had a similar situation with a badly worn wheel bearing, where i had a lot of brake dust on the wheel with the worn bearing. Jack the car up and check for excessive play, and look for rust.

Sorry skipped my mind.
Its a 2000 integra type r (dc2) with a k swap, so its a 2003 engine/gearbox, out of a jdm 2003 inetgra type r (dc5). Transmission is a y2m3 with a 5.1 final drive in it.

I will drop the transmission fluid today and see if there is any metal in it.

Don’t waste time with the f22b, just go straight h22a swap, as said previously, better gearing and a better base to start with, even just bolts, and a tune will yield good results, maybe change flywheel to a lighter unit, a heavy duty clutch and since you say it will be a rally car, consider a shorter final drive and lsd if your box doesn’t come with one (some h series boxes do, some don’t).
If money permits try to source the jdm type s h22, comes with higher compression and more aggressive cam, couple that with a cai, 70mm t/b, a good header and a 3″ exhaust with hondata s300 and you will be laughing!
