I’ve also been seriously considering swapping an auto trans for a manual trans on my Ford Focus and would also like to know what I need to prepare for that.

I would also like to know if it worth it, or should I just buy a similar vehicle with a manual?

Could a novice like me do this, or would it be better to have it done at a shop?

A few things I’ve heard is to purchase a wreaked or parts car similar to yours (but with a manual trans) and swap it over. It’s the cheapest option (if you have the space for it, which I don’t).

So I am very interested in what responses people have for this.
