I would first look at brakes.. since 80% of your braking happens from the front. Could be your pads are just rubbing in coast mode. In theory they will rub some. Just how life is.. But if they are dragging maybe pull the wheel off, and pull the pads and use some brake clean (all parts stores, and walmart sales it in a can).. Get a clean rag and clean your rotors first, then move to the more dirty stuff the caliper area.. Why you are doing this.. do you see big groves in your rotors? Is the pads worn down to where you see shiny metal. If you see either of these it is time for a brake job NOW… 2nd possible problem is wheel bearing.. I dono on imports but possible it is this. But I suspect brakes..
Ok Sorry for silly suggestion. I did look prior to posting. I will buy a t-shirt to support you.
As for colab stuff. Competitions, or battles seems to be popular. I think that might be a break from your traditional “style” and be something different like 2 cars with “random” problems and maybe a timer ticking to see who can figure out or fix it the quickest. Just a fun thing. Could lendto some drama build up vids to the big event.
I really like your older vids as it has made me smarter but the cars do not really apply to me. I do like the Ford hotrod as it applies to me more. I think you should continue with your traditional style but I think the hot rodding stuff maybe a new channel would fit it better. I wish you the best and hope you continue to be able to support yourself doing what you been doing. But Politics has changed the advertiser dynamics. Google has to make a profit and if advertisers are scared off by content providers who promote politically charged topics it affects everyone as advertisers leave. I hope in a few months advertisers will come back and will drive back up the advert rates and you can regain your income. You may consider more “sponsored content” or just “sponsors”.. Just giving you ideas.. Good luck.. I will pick up a t-shirt in support of you..
In a single word.. “KARMA”
Back in 2010 I was stationed in North Carolina. My co-worker had a 65′ Chevy stepside. And he told me about a pull part place near the base. Said they had many older vehicles. So one day at lunch he took me there and we just walked aorund.. Took pictures as I thought it was cool. I found they had a 62 Falcon ranch (woody) wagon. I own a 63′ wagon so many similar parts but that had more bling bling on it and it’s glass was in tact.
So over the next 2 months I made trips out there on Saturdays to pull parts off it as Saturday is all you can carry for $50. Durring this time I tell another car friend “Hey I found a 62 Falcon wagon at this place”.. Not thinking he knew another Falcon guy.. Well after that I notice someone also suddenly has interest in this car that has been there for 20 years or more. So it is like a war now, quickly get all the parts off the car before the other person. After a bit I run into my friend at a show, and by chance his other friend who he told the info to was there, and we start talking. Come to find out, it was him pulling the other parts off it. We talked more after that. I realized he needed help with parts and sources as he was just getting started. I removed an entire door from the junker vs trying remove the glass from the door. I just wanted the glass. He wanted the door. So I told him get the glass out of your door, and I will let you have this door.. So from that point on, we helped each other, I got a rechromed front bumper, he helped me swap it out and I sold him my old front bumper for much less than what he could get a rechromed for. I found bucket seats for a 62′ falcon, and he helped me install them so I let him have my bench seat.. So KARMA… can help you and it can hurt you..My case it helped us..- AuthorReplies
