Ok so i done some analysis and it turns out the first O2 sensor is i think an AFR Sensor instead of a oxygen sensor.
The sensor in the middle of the CAT reports rich at 0.7 volts when idling but then fluctuates rich and lean up and down 0.2 – 0.8v when i raise RPM above idle to 2500.
Is it possible to have a AFR sensor pre-CAT and a O2 sensor post-CAT?
What is going on with this car….?
That is also a point, on the scan-tool it reports no bank 1 sensor 1 as it says no data like every other like bank2 sensor X of course i am not going to have a bank 2 sensor X as i have a rotary engine and not a V type piston engine so i expect to see no data on these software parameters.
I actually physically have one pre-cat sensor and one sensor in the centre of the cat which i presume is the post-cat although it is is directly in the centre of the cat.Thats what i thought but i failed emission test at the MOT today. UK Legal limit is 0.3% and i hit 0.31 on HC. It is right on the limit but over, the guy tried the test twice and both times it came out at 0.31.
Mmmm i like wood, not in a kinky way but it is easy to work with.
Why are these cheap steal constructions they make so expensive. I can obtain wood for free and recycle it in this way to make it work. If i can’t find a better way i think this maybe the best option, jack up on lumbers.
You guys are great, the ideas are quality.
wow i like that.
Yes that would work provided 4 of them are cheap of course.I am guessing they are sold on eBay?
Funny you should mention ramps. I looked at them see saw ramps they use at car showrooms.
eBay want stupid money for them though, i have the normal kind of ramps that are cheap but my car is only 8inch of the floor so i cant get them under the wheels ramps hit the body before the wheels.
No i did not lower the car, it came out the factory like that lol before anyone says it.
Hi Eric
I asked this in the Youtube comments but i thought i would come on over to the discussion thread and put it hear as its bugging me.
I need ask you something. I am in limbo about this topic of mod but is there any benefit to it or not. I currently have a Plastic Intake Manifold. I am looking at pulling a similar intake off a different model which is an alloy intake manifold that fits. Which is better, an alloy manifold or a plastic manifold? I am getting the feeling my plastic manifold is more prone to create a vacuum leak in comparison to an alloy manifold.
So yes what is the take on Alloy vs Plastic inlet manifolds and changing a plastic manifold for a alloy one, is it worth it and what benefits and advantages are their. Most importantly, which is most reliable?
