Sorry I haven’t replied back in a few days, I’ve been sick, and have been driving my dads 20 mpg 94 regal since he’s out of town. I probobally need to just drive some more and I think it will correct itself back to its normal 13 mpg. I will look at the live date sometime this weekend just to be sure, Eric, just on a side note, do I have to have a PayPal to get the premium membership? Thanks, -Darren

I had a buick 3.8 with bad bearings, It cost more to do the machining with the parts than it was to buy an engine for 275 and put it in myself, so if you already have a good one I would just use that.

well like I said all my o2 sensors are new, my coolant temp is a constant 95C it has a new MAF sensor, I will check the rpm with the scanner but its about 600 to 700. The air filter is brand new tires aren’t low, I just put fresh gas in from empty so I guess I will see if that makes any difference, Overall it runs great, no lights or anything, all my driveline fluids are new, I pretty much did everything when I changed the engine. I will hook it up to the scanner and put the number up later, Thanks!

Ok so i figured out what the problem was, one of the many terminals on the giant connector for the selenoid pack was pulled half way out, once i pushed it back in it fired right up, it sounds great, now the $50 oil pan gasket I just put on is leaking, I think I will just sell the car haha 🙂 Do you know of any good ways to stop a pan gasket leak, it only leaks when the engine is running which is what makes me thing I may have luck with a sealer, I really don’t want to put any kind of stop leaks in my 50k $2000 engine but being that I’m going to have to drop the front diff and axle to change the gasket again I might give one a try, Thanks!

Ok the stuff on autozone was really helpfull, I have pretty much narrowed it down to being a problem with the LR Selenoid Control, either the wiring for it or something else, im going to go outside and track all the wires for it and check the rounds one more time and we will see what I end up with, btw my chrysler mechanic said that he sees this pretty often, especially if you change a tranny, He gave me instructions on how to reset the transmission range sensor, but it didnt work so it must be the wiring, Thanks!

I had the pan off 3000 miles ago, ran fine up to the day when i took the engine out, on halloween of this year so a little over a moth ago, not with the new engine and everything hooked up it physically goes into all gears and shifts fine, however when you put it in Park it says reverse, and when you put it in neutral it just skips over it and goes to drive, i think its some sort of safety/security issue, tried my shop manual, the web, but can find anything, I get the code for P0700 and P0750, but I’ve never got those codes before, so I don’t see why they would just appear all of the sudden, after an engine swap, Thanks for the thought though 🙂

Its not that I don’t believe that isn’t whats causing the problem, I just think that its not the actual solenoid, maybe wiring, or something else, i don’t know, i wish i could find a wiring diagram, I even have the service manual, the 6000 some page one from Chrysler, and I can find any info there either? but thanks for the comment.
