Usually after it stalls, it will not start back up. After it stalls the fuel pressure at the fuel rail is low, when I depress the schrader valve there is some pressure but the fuel does not shoot out and when I relieve all the pressure and then try to start it, it will start.

I’ve had people saying the crank position sensor but as I stated it acts just like it is running out of gas, when this problem happens, it will start by missing, then will idle fine for a few minutes unless you press the accelerator then it will bog and sound like it is sucking air and then stall. The reason I’m describing this is because I’ve had a crank position sensor go bad and the vehicle would just quit running with no warning or symptoms, and I’m wondering if anyone has had a crank sensor go that acted like it was running out gas.

                  thanks

the fuel filter was just replaced about 2 weeks ago, I got the car used so I don’t know how old the fuel pump is.

I will, Thanks. is there any special set up to replacing the crank sensor, I replaced the harmonic balancer a couple of years ago, so that part is no problem.
