Do you drive this car up and down the continental divide every day, or stop from 120 MPH several times every minute?
Then you might need the heavy duty stuff.
Haha that was funny, nope. I did check my OM and it says heavy duty. Looks like that’s the way to go. Although I’m still curious to the difference between standard vs heavy duty. I mean honestly how different could they be?? The dealer sells them for the same price, and they’re in the same area. You just have to be careful to pick the heavy duty one.
Eric just answered my question on his chat. That video is what he was saying! Thanks for all your help guys!
I ask you to pause for a second, and ask yourself “what am I really gaining by doing this?” From a performance standpoint the answer is likely NOTHING.
Well on the both cars sometimes the idle is a little rough, especially when the A/C is on. Does it worry me? Not at all. Just thought it would be an easy thing to do. I have no intention on a performance increase. Just some PM.
Now the Camry (109k miles) is what worries me a little. The Idle is great, haven’t had an issue with it (knock on wood) but this engine (2AZFE) is notorius for needing throttle bodies replaced. I just thought of giving it some PM to not worry about this. Some have had luck never cleaning it and it’s fine, some said cleaning it regulary (every 25k) will prevent problems.
You think I should just pray some outside the butterfly without distributing it, and call it a day?

Eric, you mentioned that you didn’t like the MXV4 tires. Were those from the Primacy series or Energy series from Michelin? I really love the Primacy MXV4 tire and would buy that one again, but thought the Energy MXV4 was a horrible tire.

I can provide Wifi from my phone to everyone if Eric is willing to let me plug it in to keep the battery from dying 😉
