I’ll answer my own question, I watched a couple videos and searched for lower intake gaskets and it would appear that the LS motors don’t have them. Hopefully someone comes on here that’s an expert with these motors.

Does anyone have any ideas on this or suggestions? Failure rates, or ways to diagnose?
February 5, 2018 at 6:27 am in reply to: Sponge like brakes after replacing calipers on 2012 town and country #886064So I’ve never experienced this, but I’ve heard that the master cylinder can lose it’s prime if run completely out of fluid, I’ve installed a master cylinder before and I know it won’t work right if you don’t prime it first and keep the reservoir full. If you didn’t run it out of fluid then I would discard this this post and keep on keeping on.
One other piece I would add is that a collapsed line will not allow the piston to retract properly. (rubber hose) Good luck.February 2, 2018 at 6:32 pm in reply to: 1990 Honda Accord LX Starts, Shuts Down, and Starts Fine again. #886027I’d go for codes first, but being that it’s 1990 I’m not sure how much data you’re going to get back. The first thing that comes to mind is copper windings loosing connection. So a bad sensor or even a bad coil, this could be a fun one. Hopefully they have a common fault that someone here knows of.
Yeah, the pictures are not good. I’m thinking it’s an oil pressure switch, that’s the first thing that comes to mind, but I’m not intimately familiar with this car.

The plugs were all normal brown / black. I do understand that the stop leak is not a permanent fix and I’m aware of it’s dangers. I know this is not going to be an easy diagnosis, I also don’t want to replace a head gasket to test the theory, this leak is so small that you’ll never see it on the gasket, I’m quite certain. If I replace one head and head gasket I have a 50/50 chance of fixing the issue if that’s where it’s coming from.
