        Hi Eric,

        I am working on a 03 Acura CL-S, with a sweet f’in 6 speed manual.

Tearing this whole car apart to do a rear main seal job and also a valve timing adjustment. So I have a ton of parts all over and a big hole in my engine bay,.

All of a sudden a little jingle catches my ear and I find this washer on the ground. It is made of steel rather than aluminum and appears to be a spacer.

I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT IS FROM, EVER SEEN ONE OF THESE BEFORE?

          Hi Eric,

Doing a major maintenance overhaul on a 2003 Acura CL Type-S, got a 6-speed manual one!

Ran into a couple issues I could use some help with:

          1. Stuck crankshaft bolt – doing it on jackstands, at what point do I give up and take it to a shop for help? Had me and a buddy one a breaker bar and a decent impact wrench on it as well.

          2. Under the rear cylinder head cover it is really dark compared to the front. Is that normal or is it a cause for concern? No major performance issues or overheating, but lots of oil leaks and clogged EGR I am correcting.

The intake manifold was all clogged with carbon and replacing the PCV valve as well. Would a motor treatment such as seafoam be helpful?
