Your pic didn’t work, and ya might want to provide make model year etc… and someone might know then to help ya
+1. You may need a fuel line quick disconnect tool available at most local parts stores. But a working pic would great for us ๐
A/C usually means ‘air conditioning”.
Did you check the trans fluid to make sure its full as well as for signs of any color deteriorataion? Does the fluid smell burnt and what about a CEL?
What type of vehicle are you working on and did you see if a new fuel filter comes with that fitting?
Im assuming your refering to the round black plastic peice on that fuel line? You could try using a quick disconnect although im not sure if that will work in this case.

Here is a link to an aftermarket fuel filter available at Autozone –
http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Az-Filters-Fuel-Filter/1998-Chevrolet-Cavalier/_/N-ja6waZ8gd7g?counter=1&filterByKeyWord=fuel+filter&fromString=search&itemIdentifier=830826_0_0_
There is an additional fitting with the fuel filter which is a quick disconnect type.
Hope this helps!
Welcome to the site and its great to have another technician on board ๐
The wheel bearings usualy are not side specific.
Do you know if the wheel bearing you have is a press fit, a complete front hub assembly or one of those captive designs where when servicing the rotors, you have to remove the bearing module?
I tried looking up info for your car at Autozone but there were several bearing types to choose from.
Im sure Eric has the answer for you right off the bat for this one ๐

What fuel pressure do you have going to the carb? I know they usually like around 6psi.
And did you do any other checks to see if your running lean such as looking at the plugs?
You may have to wait for an old school guy to step in as all my training is with EFI and im only know the extreme basics on carbs, sorry.
