Either your rear brakes need to be adjusted or you need to hold the button on the combination valve. The combination valve is the proportioning valve, metering valve, and brake warning light switch all in one. The metering valve is the one that needs to be held open, but if you have someone pumping up the brakes for you there should be enough pressure to open it without using the button on the combination valve. I would say you have a leak somewhere or your rear brakes are out of adjustment.

I may be wrong but doesn’t the pump have a check valve that keeps the fuel from draining back to the tank after you cut it off? It sounds like that check valve is bad and the fuel line is losing its prime.

I also use mitchell on demand,
Wow some great info in this post. I would have never through about an air shock leaking and causing the compressor to run and drain the battery, and the ideal about leaving the ammeter hook up all night . Thanks guys.
Transmission slip, sounds like. Check the fluid and its condition.
Thats a great video about the main relay. I do not own a Honda but will know what to look for if (or when) I run into this issue.

getting the new intake manifold in the next week or so. so in the mean time i shall start sanding and preparing the body work of the car! 🙂
Hey a big thumbs up on the great photos. Good luck, let us know how everything turns out.
I agree with you college man. sounds like a lower intake gasket.
I would say test for high resistance(voltage drop) in the generator output cable, please keep in mind that I am new, Eric and the other more knowledgeable members will be here soon and can offer you better advice.
Quoted From Blkmonte01:
Thanks for the reply. I was going to run a voltage drop test throughout the circuit but ran out of sunlight to work. Will be performing the test tomorrow when I get up in the morning. Im hoping it leads me closer to the source of the problem, so far im pretty stumped.
Yeah that is strange, there will be some more folks chime in soon, please post what you find out, I would really like to see what you come up with. Good Luck.
Sounds like a broke valve spring.
