Is it throwing any codes?
I suspect the wiper switch is at fault because if it were the linkage it wouldn’t work at all.
I seen this with engine cradle bushings before and the only ways around it are to grind off the head or cut it off.
With it loosing1 to 2 gallons a day there has got to be some signs of it dripping somewhere.
If the starter is falling apart then yes you need a new one.
Duct tape will not take the heat in that area it will just come off.
Now would be a good time to put on a new set of injector o-rings.

P0303 is a cylinder 3 misfire code.
Possible causes.
Faulty spark plug or wire Faulty coil (pack)
Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
Faulty fuel injector
Burned exhaust valve
Faulty catalytic converter(s)
Poor compression
Defective computerDoes the fan run at the same speed when its cold and when its hot?
The fan should run slower when cold then increase in speed when hot.
Maybe the coolant temp sensor is on the fritz.
If there the factory links they wont have zerk fitting and if the rattling around there done for.
+1 Stabilizer Bar Link or sway bar links there sometimes called are the most common rattling part on these cars.
Yes a map can be faulty without throwing a code so you could try a new one.
Also maybe the throttle position sensor.
+1 on the rotor shield contacting the rotor.
And whoever told you to spray WD 40 on your brakes needs to be beaten with a large stick that’s the last place to that you want oil on.
Im just going to say that the bulb is now degraded and needs to be replaced.
Normally the ballasts that drive them work or they don’t.
