Have you checked for codes?
Are you sure you have spark?
What plugs did you put in? not that it matters.

I am going to say that what you are hearing is the differential gearing in the trans and that amount of play rationally is normal as long as its not up and down or side to side.
I can’t really tell by your video but is the axle moving back forth with the rotor or is the axle stationary?
[quote=”mckrishes” post=178553]Could be water pump if not the cap. Water pump might not be strong enough to circulate the coolant properly.

This is a good possibility.
I just looked up the pump for the 99 Civic and it has that same metal impeller shown in Eric’s video.
With all the moving parts in that area you are going to have to narrow down the location the sound is coming from.
Using a stethoscope with a long tube attached to it makes it much easier just be very careful not to get it caught in any moving parts the injury could be devastating.
This is a home made one but advance auto parts sells one for $10.00

Engine additives stop leaks or any other types of quick fixes will more times than not will create more problems then the fix.
I would do another complete oil change with new filter using the recommended oil weight for the vehicle.
I don’t think the belt tensioner had anything to do with the alternator going out i just think the 11 year old alternator died.
What im thinking is one of the belt tensioner pulley bearings is bad and when it heats up it starts to squeal.
Is it louder on the front of the motor where the serpentine belt is?
Now for the big problem what to do after the old mount is off.
Everything im coming up with will require allot of work.
Probably have to cut that section of the frame out and weld new nuts on the backside of the piece that was cut out and weld it back into place.
Im going to say you have a bad coil pack that fires both of those cylinders.
