Last two biggies were a Fluke 87V and a Mastercool hydraulic flare tool. Love them both so far!

I always clean pulleys with a rag soaked in brake cleaner when replacing the belt. I don’t know what to clean a belt with. If I consider a belt to be contaminated I just replace it. They aren’t too expensive.

No need to flush you could go right back to conventional. A far as whether to stay with synthetic or go conventional that’s kind of a matter of preference. A synthetic flows better which also means it will leak better too. Keep that in mind with your leak that has developed. I’m kind of on the fence with oil. I have synthetic in one and conventional in another. There are many benefits to a synthetic and I believe I saw a video Eric did on this subject, very cut and dry objective video.I recommend watching it if I can find the link real quick I’ll post it for you.

I’m going to agree and disagree at the same time, but I’ll explain why. Full time awd (and 4wd) vehicles can be affected by differences in tire diameter. There was one vehicle in particular that had a service bulletin that a difference of only 2/32nds of and inch of tire wear would make a difference. That vehicle was something like a CRV or RAV4 or a Subaru, I can’t remember which vehicle it was honestly but it was one of the smaller awd vehicles. That being said depending on what tire you bought, how many miles you have driven and how you drive, I can’t see you using that much tread in the time you mentioned. (although possible) As mentioned before I would make sure you do get the exact same tire you purchased so you won’t be affected by differences between manufacturers.
