Sounds like you may be on the right track. I would look into a cheap bottle of UV dye and a cheap UV light from a parts store, set a piece of cardboard under the truck and let it run and reach temperature then use the light to look for the magical glow. The cardboard will also help direct you if it makes it past the fan.

If I’m thinking correctly I believe your clock fuse also holds the backup for your ecm memory. That could be part of your door lock/window deal when pulled. An easier method I’ve found is to perform a voltage drop test across the tabs on the back of the fuse its less intrusive and by pulling that fuse in particular you could cause a circuit to “go to sleep” that’s associated with ecm memory etc. Try that and let us know what you find.

Since you were pretty far into it I’d double check all vacuum hose connections and intake gasket making sure no small leaks exist. Try that first and let us know what you find.

Should be downstream sensor on right side of motor if you’re standing looking at side where belts are. Bank 1 is the side that includes cylinder #1.

I have done one and to be honest it wasn’t hard, but I had a lift and my arsenal handy. I don’t know how agreeable I’d be to doing it on jackstands or ramps though. lol

Very good thing in my opinion. Shows they like and trust you. Heck I’ve got people swing by just to visit if they haven’t needed a repair in a while. Makes me feel good they view me as a friend not just their mechanic. It should you too. Take it as a compliment. B)

Not familiar with pulsar but I do love my pp3. What exactly are you going to use it for? The only caveat I can offer is to be careful with either and know what you’re about to apply power to, both tools can let that very expensive smoke to escape and cause headaches. I’d read all you can, you could probably download pdf versions of each tools manuals to check out features of each and see what appeals to you. I can sing praises to power probe all day but if the features don’t benefit you like they do me, then I’m just the idiot who talked you into spending money lol.
