      Deb, can I call you Deb? The bright green fluid is more than likely antifreeze. Although I don’t believe that was the correct antifreeze for your application, I’d have to check. To answer your first two questions in my professional opinion I would have to say, no. The last question honestly is a slippery slope. Sometimes crap happens, I unfortunately witness it everyday. How often were the power steering flushes performed?

          The 2.4 was bad about cracks in the housing where the coils mounted. I’ve ran into this several times and as bad as it pains me to say dealership parts have given me the best luck when replacing them. Stay away from bargain basement part store stuff with these. I really think you may
          have more issues than that though. Any more info you can share?

              Jeff here in Tennessee. Been doing various work on vehicles for the past 20 years. Recently stumbled upon ETCG, good stuff! I’m ASE certified and all that jazz. Never too old to learn and hopefully I can be of a little help or advice one time or another.
