Just a quick note. i put a new battery in yesterday and the spark improved. it was weak, but its strong white spark now with the new battery installed.
Checking out the link you posted now 🙂
UPDATE: tested for spark. have spark at the plugs but was weak. battery was almost dead at this point though. i also tested the coil just to go the extra step, same result. had a spark jumping to the test light, but it was very weak. i also noticed on the distributor rotor seemed a little worn. not sure if thats a problem considering im still getting a spark at the plug, just a weak one. but im going to go buy a new battery as ive hard to charge this one numerous times in the time that ive spent trying to start it. will update afterwards.

i have already used that method to test the fuel pump. it checked out to be okay. i havent checked the spark, but i dont think its that because it did start a couple days ago when the weather was nicer and warmer. not that its cold out its not starting again. i will check the spark though. just to be sure. thank you for the help! 🙂

just as a side note. the Check Engine light is on because i do not have the O2 plugged in, in the video.

UPDATE: put the Main Relay back into the car today, charged the battery up. also plugged the O2 sensor back into the car. turned the key and hear no clicking, then i tried to crank it. cranked for a few seconds and then fired up. the car ran for a few minutes and then stalled out. i assumed the O2 was bad due to what happened before so i unplugged it. started the car up again and it ran, it sputters and hiccups but it runs. but the speedometer still goes nuts. i took a couple videos i am going to post.
im going to look at the relay again and try to find where the broken solder is, because when its warm, it works, when its cold it dont.

Just want to add that the battery did have a charge. just not enough to try to turn it over. didnt want you to think it didnt click or anything because the battery was dead haha :p
