did you have fuel lines replaced in the car recently? if not I’m willing to bet its the EVAP charcoal canister vent tube backed up from the charcoal canister falling apart and venting pieces of its self out the line. the line you want to check is just behind the passangers side wheel well on the side of the canister. the canister will not shoot a code for this issue. What’s happened is when you are forcing fuel into it (past when when the actual fuel nozzle clicks off saying you’re gas tank is full) if you keep filling to round it up that gas you just pumped into it is actually going straight into the vent canister and eating the inside. So when the canister see’s it needs to vent it pushes all the crap inside the canister into the vent tube that goes from the bottom of the canister into the fuel filler neck. The charcoal canisters main purpose is to catch all the fuel particles from the pumped gas capture them into the charcoal canister and from there it vents into the atmosphere slowly as appose to rapidly.

Vehicle will not start if the ignition switch is faulty. I have been down this road before first make sure you here the fuel pump kicking on if so use a test light and hook it to ground turn the ignition on and check for power at the switch. I replaced a lot of ignition switches on these vehicles

I know a few tricks with those 4.6 5.4 & 6.2l engines… one would be to take out the inner fender on the drivers side and have one person up top and down below to get it in there… I know easier said then done. When I do exhaust manifolds & cats on those SUV’s / trucks I actually pull out both engine mount bolts (the very long ones that go through the block and then into the mount) get a transmission jack, and a piece of wood rest the wood upwards and jack the motor up as far as I can go without straining any wires etc. By doing this when it comes to cats you will push the engine upwards and allow for the cat to be slipped in. In you’re case you would only have to take the one mount bolt out and use a floor jack and a piece of wood and jack the motor up. Now with one engine bolt out the engine is not only going to want to go up but tilt right which is totally ok as long as you’re paying attention to what you are doing. Hope this helps good luck! I’ve had my fare shares of fighting with those engines weather it would be replacing cats or manifolds…

Hi, Check the fuses in the under hood fuse box not sure why it would blow the fuses but check the fuses. Next check the passenger side fuse panel tucked up under the glove box you will have to do some digging as to what fuse it is for the radio I forget. Next have you’re battery & alternator load tested to be sure something is not shorted out in the battery or alternator. When I got my car the first day I had it the horn, radio, and throttle stopped working. opened the fuse box up to find multiple broken wires in the fuse box why it happened all of a sudden I’m unsure. if all the fuses check ok get a test light and check each socket for power. if you have no power going into one socket assume its a wiring issue and take the fuse box apart carefully, the fuse box does not come completely apart and is kind of a pain in the rear to fix wires in but it can be done. Let me know if this helps!

Was this a problem before you changed the clutch? Did you lube the fork ears? Take off the shift linkage and try to run through the gears off the shift lever and see. Sounds like a sticking release bearing.

Element 3 calipers are “New” not rebuilt calipers. They are just a cheap caliper that does not require a core to be returned when purchasing.

Hi, here I have a photo of my t100 Toyota with a stuck tire. I’ve tired using a sledge to take it off, driving it off in a parking lot and still no luck, I’m getting frustrated as to why or what I’m missing to take the tire off. If anyone has any other ideas please tell me I’ve also tried taking a 4×4 with a sledge to the side of the rim with no luck. Also have used penetrating oil. Please someone help

Thanks everyone. One of our master techs has snap on and one has Mac. I’ve used them both i find the snap on extremely loud to the point that when he uses it, it drowns out everything in the shop you can’t even here you’re self think. I’ve never really looked to see if the baffle is busted or if it’s just an older model when it had to sound like a mean hammer lol.

Thanks everyone. This is my first time taking the wheels off my truck truth being told. I’m going to try the 2×4 trick and if that does not work I guess I’m stuck trying the parking lot trick.

I treat oil pan gasket replacement and transmission gasket replacement the same. Always put 3L of fluid in start the vehicle and go from there. Check the fluid when the vehicle is warm fill up to correct specs on the stick take it for a spin then recheck. When I do oil pan gaskets I start off with 3L of oil and go from there. I even do it that way when changing oil, unless you’re source is 100% accurate always follow you’re gut instinct. Never had one issue with the way I do it. Good for you for admitting you made a mistake though the most important thing is you learnt sometimes you’re source is not 100% correct.
