There is a drawback with the roloc discs used on a die grinder. The roloc discs on a die grinder can do damage, this is when cleaning gasket surfaces used on a die grinder.GM has a TSB on this not to use them. The little pieces can get in the oil which the oil filter can’t trap can cause premature engine failure. There have been cases of this happening including the use of scotchbrite pads.
Can you use them on brake drums and rotors? Especially on the hat portion that’s in contact with the hub assembly that’s usually rusted? I just ordered an Astro Pneumatic angle and straight die grinder plus some coarse 3m roloc discs and a 3m roloc holder. thanks

All I did/do is put 4-5 drops of air tool oil in the air inlet and started right to work. Reoil after about 3-4 hours of use and at the end of the day. You need to grease it after about 10-15 hours of use. My IR and Aircat 1/2″ has a grease port but the Snap On MG725 doesn’t.

I have the BlueDriver for about 2 weeks now and it’s amazing. The app is free for ipad, iPhone, android tablets and phone. Repair reports are also free as I have all Toyoas and they’re all free. I tried it on my company work truck a Chevy Siverado and it threw some codes. I downloaded the repair reports and they were also free. You can also read live codes as well as snapshot.
