Ok I unplugged the connector and tried to jump the two connections and when I unplugged the connector the gauge went all the way down like the key was off the jumper didn’t do anything. When the key is on the gauge is on cold never moves except intermittently very seldom. Do you think it is the gauge it self or the sender on engine? I would think if it was a fuse all gauges would be affected? Should I try and change senser or would it be a waste?

does anyone know where the shift interlock is located and where do i get a new one?

seemed to be air in the system.

where would i buy one and is that what the parts people call it. (brake transmission shift interlock)

if the brake lights work is the switch working properly?

is this the switch on the brake pedal that opp the brake light?

1999 chevrolet 3500 pick up v8 it is the one that has notches in it and turns 1/4 the way
