Whilst I was being corrected about manual v automatic I was also thinking, which none American car companies are big in the USA, for what ever reason usa cars are very rare in UK. We have a lot of Japanese and European cars, we have almost none of our own these days but we haven’t imported us cars for what ever reason. If anyone has any answers I’d like to know, thanks

For some reason when I was at a legal age to drive I didn’t bother to learn , I waited 10 years before I showed an interest in cars or driving , that means I missed out on the good old classics like you describe , shame on me .

I hadn’t considered that fact you cover a lot more ground in your vehicles, looks like they are in America for ever with no signs of changing.

I think it will be a sad day when driving is taken away from us, that decision will be made by someone who spends there life in the passenger seat
