Mine has a clip that holds it on. It’s not pressed on just slides off the shaft. can you see a clip at the end of the shaft? It may be covered with dirt of crud ( C clip)_x000D_

No C clip, just a snap ring.[quote]Quoted From johnbkobb: _x000D_

Only 1 clip?[quote]Quoted From johnbkobb: _x000D_
_x000D_Never mind on the spacer. Just found it in the clutch plate
I believe it is the one on the compressor. It is the pulley on the bottom – left of the engine.
No, it’s the 5.4L. I’m hoping to be able to do this without having to remove the compressor. Is that possible?
Thanks guys. Im assuming that replacing that pulley will get rid of the squeal that is coming from it.
Thanks Fader! T)
Thanks guys. It looks like it is cheaper to buy an ABS scan tool than it is to take it somewhere and have them tell me what the code is. I’ll let you know what I find out.
Does anyone know if I can go to advance or auto zone and have them use their scan tool? I know they do it for engine codes, but I’m not sure about abs codes. Thanks.
Thanks guys – I’m taking it back to him tomorrow to see what else we can come up with. Yes, my scan toold does show which monitors have run. The catalyst and evap always end up the last two, but the evap never completes.
For what it’s worth, I didn’t have this problem until I had to replace the 4wd vacuum lines, but it has been 1500 miles since then.
I have also done the drive cycle in temps from 65-105, so I don’t think that’s it. I am also not getting any codes other than the p1000.
Yeah, i’m sure it’s the evap. I also made sure to follow the instructions in the drive cycle and my tank was 3/4 full when I started.
