Thank you very much for your comment!

I what to do all except replacing the header because it is an expensive repair and I can’t do it my self. Maybe my question is not clear enough. Just to make sure, let’s put it this way do you see a problem if there is no “exhaust manifold braket” as shown by the letter “E” on the picture attach? Could something be damage if the braket is no longer in place? By the way it is on a D17A1. Thanks, agains,

No, I bought the car used two years ago. Someone told me that Honda may extended the warrenty for that since it is a pattern failure.

        Sorry for the confusion,
        Thanks for your help!

First of all thanks everyone for you input!. The battery voltage when the engin is off is 12.3V. The battery seem to be good but I will have it load tested to make sure. Meanwhile I spoke with a friend of mind who is automotove technician and he told me that the alternator positive stud is very brittle. It remind me that I had a strange sensation when I torque the alternator positive nut. I might broke it under during installation. I will dig into that. Thank again for your help! Dave

            Thanks for your reply,
You are right, it wasn’t clear. Let’s me explaine a bit more. I own a 03 civic and a 05 Corolla. I perform as much as maintenance and repaire as I could on my cars. I am interest to lean more about how cars in general work. I would say modern cars. I am not looking for a book for a specific model but more a reference that cover the principles of each system of a car. Let’s say a chapter per system you mention. I hope that precise my need.
            thanks again!
            regards,

Not sure to understand what you mean by “the source of the leak is usually clean”. Do you mean that there is no other part in front of the leaking area?

With your experience, do you think that the leak will stop now that the pressure is back to nomal?
                      Thanks, Best regards,

I did not tow any thing, I do not have transmission cooler. The fluid smell the same as a fresh new bottle. Thanks again for the infomation.

Done, I removed a bit less than 1/2 quart. Thanks again for the helpful information.

I am suprise to see that the fluid is quite dark (I did one flush 6 monts ago, I know it took me a lot of time to fix the overfilled situation). Is it normal or the overfilled situation could have ruine the fluid?

One last thing, I noticed that the housing assembly joint of the transmission is a bit wet all peremeter. It is like the fluid under pressure started to leak slowly. I hope it will stop now that I got the correct level.
Any input would be highly appreciated. Best regards,
