what Sully said spray a clean any dye from the area after you give it more charge to deturnine if indeed that where you leak is
Hint I know alot of guys on here dont agree with this , but i too hVE A 2000 gRAND cherokee and when i bought her 5 years ago the ac did not work.
i charged it and nice cold air for one day So being cheap I went to Walmart after researching and bought the heavy duty leak repair.and charged it filling the rest with r134, She is still running very cold five years later most or alot will say that stuff will ruin your system, at that point i could not afford to fix it the so called correct way .
had not had a single problem and it used every day just my thoughts

check the heater hoses to see if they at almost the same temp, if so then the blend door may be the issue if not then you either have air in the system, bleed it… if no air then back flush your heater core by removing both hoses WHEN COLD run water though it from a garden hose in both direction in most cases you wont believe the crap that will come out re install your hoses and re bleed the system they have a bleeding kit but all i have ever done is use a radiator cap with the lower seal removed and fill the system and overflow idle the enging until the fan cycles on and off shut down the engine and watch it bubble into the overflow and then as it cools drink from the over flow afterwards put your regular cap bad on and you should be al set unless your blend door is gone south good luck top off your overflow if needed

                      Hi Eric
Just watched your electrical video , and Being an electronics Tech and seeing a voltage drop like
that leads me to believe that the problem, was the fuse itself..I have seen this many many times in my career , where you replaced the fuse and still nothing works, check the fuse with an ohm
meter, and sure enough the fuse seems to be fine…turns out that the fuse itself has a weak connection inside and the end. cause a voltage drop or high resistance on the out side of the fuse…Too bad you couldn’t find that fuse and try it in the car… Just a thought to help others

first off. Great job on your soldering video. BUT I have the answer for your problem you had with
the one role of solder….Go look at it . The problem is that it is LEAD free, and to put it mildly
IT SUCKS.. Ive been a electronics tech for 50 years, and a few years ago the powers to be OUR EPA
wanted all of us to stop using leaded solder…all manufactures and tech had to switch over. This stuff
needs a hotter iron and is just harder to work with…the old rad shack rosin core was and still is the best…..AND the lead free crap cracks over time … Just and FYI to all

Funny thing Eric . this just happened to me 2 weeks ago , I was ready to blow 200 dollars on an alternator , when I really check it out and pulled the belt , and as I did , I hit the tensioner, and it screamed at me

I use this method if you have an old radiator cap , remove the lower valve assembly this is the small valve on the very bottom of the cap this allows the coolant to free flow back and forth to the expansion tank
install this cap on your car run the engine at 2000 rpms for a couple on fan cycles keeping an eye on you r expansion tank level don’t let it run dry. this work great for both my jeeps then of course put your regular cap back on
