There is no play in the outer or inner tie Rods. The only thing that moves is that center piece the tie rods bolt to. It moves up and down. The steering wheel turns fine no excessive turning requires the car is quite agile and drives fine. It’s just the slight clunk on sharp bumps going slow and that center piece moving

I’m not sure what the track rod is. And what’s the correct way to measure the amount of play? Front lifted off the ground or while on the ground.

Well it can’t be to tight can it? Because it has to move?

Loudest areamis the center of the exhaust side if the cyl head where the little machined triangular area is. It sounds like a clackity noise. But it sound like the noise reverberates through the catalytic converter and makes the lower tone knock/rattle sound. I dont know if that makes sense or not.

After the exhaust leak in the video was fixed. When he revved the engine it made the slught growling rattle noise. Thats the noise mine is making, my cat converter is made into the manifold . Ive checked for exhaust leaks and cannot find any. The car in the video sounds different than mine until after it was fixed. I dont think my issue is exhaust leak.
