Cold air intakes? Yes they work BUT AT HIGH RPM, ive taken a free tour at the k&n filter plant here in cali, they said they dont know if fuel economy increases they cant gurantee that, we took cars to the dyno(not at k&n here at my automotive school Universal Technical Institute) and found yes it does increase hp but at high rpm, u actually lose hp at mid range which is where ur car is mostly running on, ultimatly losing some fuel economy, so for a daily driver, i wouldnt really recomend an after market cold air system but just a drop in into ur stock airbox.

Well it seems the block was ok, and the head was rebuilt and not warped, just a couple holes stripped and spark plug hole stripped also(all got fixed) i put the car back together and is running great! it seems it was just the actual headgasket that failed, either way i am going to do a cylinder leak test to check if everything is fixed and keep u guys posted

wat u can do is try to jack up the car from the rear tow hook or around those areas, just be careful its secure and wont damage the car and than u can put the jack stands on the pinch welds (thats how ive done it especially since its easier for me since my car is slammed ^^)

is your car stock height? (asking cuz my car is lowered and can not even fit a small jack under it) wat u can also try is lifting it from under the control arms, where the control arms connect to the body, under where the bushing is, im not sure if it will work, i would go check lifting points on my integra but its pouring outside so i cant check rite now, try to see if u can do that if u cant ill go check

here is a link of a photo i found, i dont know if there r parts of the body that u can use as lift points but heres a pic of wat it might look like

hes tried that, but if the jack is n the pinch welds, his question is where would he put the jack stands, he cant just pull out the jack fast and put the jack stands lol

i dont think its possible, taking it off maybe will be easy since its already stretched and worn, but good luck putting the new one on, usually u use a machine since it will stretch it a bit to fit snug on the rim, even with just crow bars and pry bars with the rim on a machine ppl have failed to put the tire on by hand, i say u tell him to take it to a shop

No visible signs of leaks except after i opened up the head and when i drained the oil, coolant started seeping out first before i fully pulled off the plug, and i did pressure test the coolant system i did have a leak but not external, so far no cracks and no warpage on block, coudlnt find a legit straight edge but something equivilent i used and hope it was straight enough but everythig seemed fine, just waiting to see wat they tell me about the head

I did a combustion leak test at my automotive school and it was confirmed there was hydrocarbons going into the cooling system and i think cylinder 2 and 3 r clean around the edges while 1 and 4 have carbon build up on them, i was adding coolant every 2 weeks and was starting to show signs like white smoke at the exhaust and i would hear the coolant bubbling when i would turn off the car. But i was100% sure after the leak test. I just sent out the head today to get checked out and i gotta find a straight edge to check the block thanks for the responses!

And the car has overheatted like 2 or 3 times so most likrly something is warped
