Hello Eric, well im using Valvoline max life on my car… its very difficult to get the original honda fluid where i live, and well the guy that tried to help me on the road did check my fluid with the engine on dispite i told him not to… about my dash board.. i recall i read that if u have a transmission issue that D light will flash on and off and mine doesn’t im not sure whats going on and also im pretty sure the check engine light was ripped off the dashboard by the last owner of the car… he was kinda irresponsible with the car. Do you think that changing my fluid will make it work again?. Thanks again. ( Oh btw the guy on the spare parts store told me the valvoline max life would work just as well as the original fluid… now im doubling hahaha.

Hey guys i finally fixed my car, turns out it was low on oil… i was checking it with the engine on… sorry bout that… made the 3 changes and now its working smoothly. Eric; i live really far from the honda agency… and when i say far i mean take a 4 hours trip to get there… so i went to the local car shop and they recommended Valvoline max life… i made a little review before buying and throwing it in and ive seen many people saying thats its better than the z1 or in some other cases the amsoil… i was just wondering whats your opinion on it. thanks again guys ๐Ÿ™‚ loving the forum ๐Ÿ˜€

                  Quoted From 3SheetsDiesel:

Without knowing exactly what kind of car you’re working on, some of my advice may not apply to you. My first trick, you’re probably going to need a helper. Get a large pair of channel locks and use them to squeeze the outer tie rod tighter against the knuckle while you turn the nut with the ratchet. You’ll do the turning and your helper will be working the channel locks, or vice versa. Trick two, there may be a hex machined into the nut-end of the outer tie rod that you can hold with a socket while you turn the nut with a wrench.

Personally speaking, I’d go and get my hands on a half-inch drive impact gun to use to remove the nut. Since you probably don’t have an air compressor, you’re going to have to use an electric impact gun, which should do the job, but they don’t produce as much torque as an air-powered gun. You may still need to use the large channel locks to hold the tie rod to the knuckle.

Hello, thanks for your reply , my car is a 2000 honda crv and id like to ask isnt there a simpler way? both of the above just sound too complicated for me :S would a drill and a soket work? thanks again

                      Quoted From djdevon3:

Check for voltage on the switch itself when pushed in and out. You could temporarily take the switch out of the loop and connect the positive lead and the load wire coming from it and see if that activates the brake lights.

i had that in mind but i didnt wanned to take that off, on my car thats really deep inside thedash board and u can only feel it not see it but i guess ill give it a shot thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
