Yes I just replaced the catalytic converter. Magnaflow says I put the wrong one on. They say I should have put a california model on it.
Wrong one meaning Cali
At close to $900 i can’t afford one
Yes, sorry it’s an 1998 Acura Integra LS, Will it pass inspection ? I don’t know why Calif. cat’s are so expensive
I’ve driven it around 300 miles without any codes. Like I said the only time I get the codes is right after a compression check. It does have the CEL lit and my scanner doesn’t show any codes. I am planning on changing the fluid this weekend.
The car runs fine it doesn’t slip or any thing shifts fine, so lets pray,
would it be normal for it to run normally and not throw any codes except for when I do the compression test? I put many of miles on it without any codes until I did the compression test. I reset the codes after the last compression test and still no codes.
That is what I am going to do. I’m going to change the fluid this weekend.
How do you change the power steering fluid? I want to do this also. How any bottles should I buy of honda power steering fluid? I know I need 3 quarts of transmission fluid.
Thanks guys, I am going to change both since they are both extremely dirty. I just brought the car. Who knows when they were changed last if ever.
What I mean is capacities I never had owner’s manual
I think it would be a good idea also
Can You all give me the spec’s for transmission and power steering the both need to be changed.
Quoted From cupdegrove:
I recently did a compression test on my 1998 Acura Integra, which turned out well. I got in and the CEL was on I checked it with My code reader I got p0700, p1753, p0753, p0758, p1794, p1786. They are about the transmission, but the car runs fine. I reset the codes drove it for about 250 miles. No Problems, or CEL’s. Wanted to check compression check It gave me the same codes. I haven’t had a chance to drive it that far yet but was wondering what could be wrong. The car is in great shape for a 1998 Acura Integra 4 door LS. My only complaint is that it is a little dirty inside.
Please someone help me and my wife!!!!
