update, went to the local pull a part, picked up 2 coils and its fixed! changed all the plugs for motorcraft while I was at it
oil in the spark plug well is from the o rings leaking.
not super critical just keep the plugs and coils dry and you will be fine
Well I finally found the problem!!…. it was the pickup coil again… defective….
so now the car has a new…

plugs and wire
cap and rotorcar finnally runs for more than and hour in traffic… how ever now its time to acctually fix the fan because traffic has killed 2 toggle switches in the last week!!, and the car isnt going to cool its self off!!

Update: well I got a hold of for corporate, apparently my car wasn’t included on the list for the recall, even though it had the recalled part. Well I went a head and changed it, along with the coil.
now three tow trucks later, I can make it only a few blocks before it kills and only restarts hours later with starting fluid…
the problem is getting worse… yet the car will idle all day???
any more suggestions before I ignite this thing and push it into the lake??

I just sent off an email to my nearest ford dealer, to see if it is still in act! just might get my car fixed for free!
