OK I’ll start checking the reference voltage..this is a intermittent issue…when the car does not go into limp mode it runs fine..thanks for the advice will keep you updated
I have a 07 pontiac g6, 2.4 engine with a P0014.. as of now all i have done is just changed the CMP exhaust solenoid. i have yet to do an oil change and on top of that the old level was low..is there anything else anyone can advise..i have that even though i only have a code for the exhaust side it is recommended to change both

i think i got one to top all lol found a kid in the trunk of a car we were going to service, it was a few years back and we later got the full story it was close to xmas and the parents were going to go xmas shopping and i guess the son we found in the trunk was always told that santa clause was the one that took the presents and after awhile he started to suspect so he hid in the truck to see if it was true or if the parents bought the gifts haha man when the tech opened that trunk he about shit him self haha
there are alot of things in the dealership i work at that i hate..
1. there service writer thinks he knows more then the tech and tells the customer what HE thinks it is up sells stuff and when the actual tech diag the problem its something totally different and now it becomes our problem
2.having a good paying customer car, then getting taken off of it to do other warranty jobs and stuff and then the service writer has the balls to ask hey is the other car done yet the customer is waiting.
3. When other techs COMPLAIN and think they deserve special treatment and try to pick and choose what job they want to do and leave all the crap work for everyone else

i been thinking of going to a different dealer but honestly i find hyundai cars extremely easy to work on..and currently im gold cert..i think its funny though how hyundai is trying so hard to become a high end model and compete with mercedes, bmw, etc…

Man i officially started in this field about 3 1/2 years ago at a hyundai dealer and i started at $9hr..for 1 year they never gave me a raise due to the fact that, that specific shop was so unorganized we went through 6 service managers in that year..i applied at other dealerships and got a few offers but they were all around 8-10hr..finally i left and started at another hyundai dealer starting at 12…its crazy how cars are becoming more advanced but the pay is so crappy
