      I agree. the only thing I could think is that when I put car in park and put my foot on the break and turn it off maybe it isn’t setting something right so car wont restart in the right gear. Boy this is frustrating.

        I went to car dealer last night. Service manager thinks it could be brake light switch. Makes no sense to me because it’s an automatic. I don’t need to put the foot on the brake to start the car. I put the foot on the brake to go from Park to neutral. They want to charge me $150 to change out the brake switch. Brake lights go on when I put foot on the brake I don’t get it

          That was never considered by anyone because there was no crank – no sound nothing – just turn the key and nothing. Then a few minutes or hours later starts right up with no delay.
