sorry about the spark or no spark didn’t read all you said.
i agree with HeavyJ compression is very low you should do wet test.
plugs just need a clean anyway good luck.
oh also hows the air filter?you have checked if it sparks?
eric has great videos like this one.i agree with transman304 good luck
i undestand can be frustrating.
most of the time my son runs into a bad situations
all i can advice him is to calm down relax leave it till
next day.
just stick with the basics, write down everything you have checked.
stand back and think back before all this started like did you install any cd player or anything electric
you will find the answer .
anyway stay dirrtyok sounds like ecu problem circuit breaker.
any chance you can borrow ecu try it out
this might help
http://www.autoshop101.com/forms/92camry.pdfVery interesting!
Had similar case on 1984 mitsubishi cordia turbo.
This car was restored 5 years ago.
It hasn’t stopped till a week ago.
Same problem as your car.
The car would start for a minute or 2
once turn engine off would not start till next day.
It would only turn over.
So first thing I did check for spark.
2nd checked for fuel and no fuel pressure.
3rd checked fuse and relay for fuel pump also fuel pump
It all checked OK.
So I rechecked fuse box and by having
Closer look on the fuse I noticed the 2 pins had dark grey color
Of dirt I replace fuse .I could have just sand back the pins
but fuses are so cheap.car is perfect nowtheres good chance that it will damage the drum if left like that.
pad will flake of in time and you have metal to metal.
having said this is not dangerous as car don’t rely as much on drums
most of the brakege comes from front discyou will loose some coolant and make a small mess.
just like eric says stay dirty 🙂i have done 2x v6 engines i found easy to do but you do what you have to do .
reminds me of my son his a mitsubishi tech,if he gets a honda he panics loleric has few videos about cooling system would be wise to watch.
however sounds like head gasket problem.
didn’t no cost couple grand for head gasket.by the sounds you have afm problem.
remove pod replace factory afmsounds like you have
bad cv joint noise
bad engine mount noise
more information would help!excellent work well explained by Paul.
Also thanks to Brian the Cameraman for the great video.
Good luck Eric in finishing the transmission .sounds like a bad starter
