1999 SL1 125000, yeah intake gasket. It just roars to 3000rpm when started and drops to like 1800rpm. When warm it’ll go to 1100 or so. After I replaced it it still goes up to like 2000-2500rpm, but then down to 1000rpm. After driving, and in gear more like 800rpm. Brake pads are shot. Starter shot, replaced. No valve cover gasket caused a huge leak, fixed, easy. Taillights went out, was a fuse, etc little stuff. Cracked windshield. Spongy suspension.

I also had a leaky lower intake and subsequently a head gasket leak. Always drive these with water on hand. 2002 Malibu 154000 now. 130000 or so for intake, 150000 for head gasket. It also began to run lean recently, haven’t had another code for it yet. Squeaky brake PEDAL, and whiny power steering.

I do not own one. A friend owns a 2014 50000 miles. It seems that they worked out most of the flaws for the 2015 update. I think they have a leaky seal and will leak out all the fluid. I just notice it taking off at a stop and going uphill. When he’s hard on the throttle it will do it. According to him it’s usually warmed up before it acts up. The whole car will shake slightly. To me it feels like a bad lockup solenoid and it just revs weird. IDK, hopefully someone else knows more.

With P0420 how can you tell if it’s a sensor issue or actually the cat? 2009 Versa 195000 miles.

It also holds revs. When you’re driving and get to 2000 rpm and release, it will only drop to 1200-1500. In some cases it will accelerate with no input from me. The throttle body doesn’t seem sticky or anything when I fiddle with it. It also has an oil light, a gas cap light, and no engine, abs codes. I’ve bought an oil pressure sensor to replace to hopefully fix it. I’ve replaced valve covers because they were leaking. Gas cap idk. When you top it off it leaks, so maybe something with the fill hose.

It also holds revs. When you are driving and get to 2000rpm and release, it will only drop to like 1200-1500. Sometimes it will accelerate when I’m not on the throttle, but only after revving it. The throttle doesn’t even seem sticky when I manually toy with it.
