Mike, even the Prius has a unique redeeming point!:
http://www.autoblog.com/2013/01/30/these-kits-turn-your-prius-into-an-emergency-generator/Granted it’s not as transportation!!!
Just thinking out loud but how possible would it be to fit/mock up a VSS setup as it would be on the 95 civic but on your accord?
Is this nuts?Sounds ECU related.
Try googling for “2004 grand vitara ECU problem” to see what you find! The lexus looks like a cylon from the front, especially in grey!
Man, you yanks are sooooo lucky you don’t get Renaults, Peugeots and Citreons over there! 😉+1 for “Oh Shit Drawer”, MDK!
Should have called the video ‘Torque Nutzis’!
That’s what I thought and somewhat ridiculous, what a waste considering most only need bushes and ball joints renewed!
It wouldn’t be so bad if you had to replace the whole LCA but could return the old core (like the brake callipers Eric also did) but I’m not sure if this is the case with LCA’s?
For what it’s worth, you can get the time and date stamp from your photo if you *copy* it onto your PC and download a free program that reads EXIF information! A free program called “irfan view” or something springs to mind…
Keep the original photo on the phone as could be admissible as evidence if you ever go to court.
Good luck!More like sticky door switch.
Might want to unscrew each switch and test with a multimeter to see which one it is and temporarily unplug it or remove and clean with a electric contact cleaner spray….If the car passed an alignment and your only alternative was a new LCA, I’d have done the same!
Spot on about your comments if you were diy’ing the repair and found the part was wrong. Infuriating!

Oddly from the other end of the spectrum, I think seeing many older models still being driven on the roads today instil an air of confidence in the brand/manufacturer that is important when considering a new/used car purchase.
Probably one of the reasons why I stick to Toyota and not Audi, VW or anything French or Italian!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Try fitting a high quality battery (like Duracell or Energiser) to the remote unit – it’s not uncommon for the cheap batteries that come with the kits to not have much oomph and therefore less range!
I’d look at the battery first before anything else.
How old is it (if 4+ yrs old then probably time for a new one!)
Is there anyone nearby that can test it for you?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi there again, this is what I was talking about:
http://www.nexxia.co.uk/products.asp?category=Seat+ISO+Radio+Harness+Adaptors&Make=Seat&Model=Ibiza&Submit=Quick+Search&Reg=c%29_Jul-99_-_Mar-06&Additional_Details=1189I have used many of these adaptors in the past as for the little money they cost, I much rather not hack all the wiring about!
