The oil pressure switch is just to the right of the distributor its silver color. Its plugged in by a connector. Put your test light to the connectors.

In the Haynes Manual for 94 trucks it says to test the fuel pump relay start the engine and let it idle and unplug the fuel pump relay,if the engine stops the oil pressure switch is faulty,If the engine keeps running reconnect the relay turn off the truck. Use a test light and probe the fuel pump test terminal.if the light does not come on the relay is good.If the light comes on the oil pressure switch is bad. But since you can’t start your truck, I would test the way I just described. The video I told you about is pretty informative.its a 95 truck he works on. With a no start problem.I have a 94 truck also so I’ll help as much as I can.

Code 54 is the fuel pump relay, But did you also check the connections. What about the oil pressure switch. I think RobinsonsAuto Channel on you tube had a video you might check out. That had this same problem. Id check the oil pressure switch.

Took about 1 hour to do. Very simple,Pedal didn’t change much but I didn’t expect it too. So Thanks Eric!! Oh I used a water bottle with 3/16th hose in it with clean fluid. Thanks Very much ETCG!!!

If you look in the Haynes repair manual you can use a jumper wire to check your starter

I love Boneyards! I have found sunvisors, armrest, cupholder, and old dash parts for my 94 gmc truck for cheap. I like to sometimes just walk around the u-pick place near me. you never know what you might find.
