No sir, I fixed the problem. I changed the IAC and its all good. 323,000 miles strong.
The needle is very steady sir. Snap the throttle up to 2grand and comes right back to 18.
I did that sir, it still goes up and down but still makes the stall sound. If i help pull it up with my hand it works when it stalls. Im thinking i should just replace the darn regulator and motor all at once and call it good.
Thanks gentleman.
The new fuel pump fixed the problems. Dam thing hasn’t run this good in a long time. Finally no more problems.
Tbi has just been rebuilt new injectors and regulator, replacing fuel pump tommorow. Tired of guessing at the little things. New fuel pump will help narrow things down.
That doesn’t account for the sputtering when i give it some gas.
December 31, 2015 at 11:13 pm in reply to: check engine light codes i don’t know why. came up #847920So i replaced the ignition control module, o2 sensor, and seafoam the engine, so now in the morning i let it warm up for 5 minutes and drive it when i take off from a light it sputtering and when I floor it it will take off fine. When it warms up the sputtering when i give it some pedal goes away. Now it set a code 44 again .what the hell is wrong now?

I forgot to update you guys on my last post, I had the throttle body rebuilt snd put new injectors in it ,cone to find out the fuel pressure regulator was leaking for a while. Set the timing bsck to zero the factory specs and it idles like a kitten. So its running alot better. No more pinging. Thanks for your help.
I will do that sir thanks. I put a vacuum gauge on it and it read 20 on the gauge so im happy the engine is at least healthy. 315000 miles on it.
Ive never messed with setting it. And yes i disconnected the tan and black wire connection.
The truck has been running good but alot of pinging. So i put a high octane gas at the last fill up and the pinging has been very minimal or not at all.
I really don’t know. I wasn’t really savy about my mechanical ability till I met ETCGs videos. If you get what I mean.
Its a 1994 gmc silverado truck. 2wd half ton. Automatic transmission
