Right side seems a lot longer, both cables are not seized.

Battery terminals are clean and tight, alternator belt has no fraying or contamination also it’s not loose or too tight. Throttle body is clean, tune up was done recently. I haven’t done a physical inspection on the inside of the IAC but It is getting power. I unplugged it while idling (no loads) the engine and had no effect on the idle. I’m not sure on checking the IAC if its being commanded on without an oscilloscope. I do have a DVOM

            Battery voltage is 12.5
battery voltage while idling 14.25v (idle 1200RPM)
            headlights + highbeams 14.1 (idle @ 1100RPM)
a/c on max blower battery 12.43v (idle ~200-300RPM)
rev to 2k RPMs battery voltage 13.9-14.1

When letting off from 2k rpm to idle with all loads mentioned above on engine almost stalls.

Thanks for every ones insight. I checked the vacuum using a vacuum gauge and the needle was fluctuating rapidly from 18 to 20. The timing is correct. Would that be caused by poor valve seating?, vacuum leak? Also idle gets worse when I press on the brakes, I’m unsure how to check the brake booster.

I forgot to mention the rattling sound coming from the right rear. I believe my cat is already done for but I haven’t looked under the car. Thanks for reminding me.

I replaced the Idle air control valve seeing as my old one was dirty and britle. No luck in solving the problem. Off to more testing, joy

I am not sure if they were OEM spark plug wires. I didn’t change the plugs, I’m not sure why I said I did. My bad. The timing is correct and there is no oil in the distributor.

The parts I used to replace the wires and rotor were off of a spare honda that we had in school.

I’m not having any issues, well.. other than when idleing (usually at lights) my engine…. I’ll leave that for a nother post. No major issues. I”ve just heard stories about Sea Foam and was curious to know if all the hype was true.

Hey everyone, sorry for the late reply. I looked through everything and seemed fine but I still had the issue. So, I decided, “hey, why not change the fuel filter”. Since i got the car used and was unsure of the service hisotry I did just that nad for the most part my issue went away (: Thank you everyone for all your help.
