Yeah just didn’t know if that was the case for everyone or if it was my computer. Was really interested to see what this one guy who asked what our favorite Frasier episode was….I think I pissed him off with my response but couldn’t read the whole response hahaha

I will add one more thing. I really do hope that if there is some sort of collaboration with MCM that a bunch of their viewers don’t come on here and start saying “MAAAAAAAD” or “Paint your calipers red for extra MAAAAAAAAD JDM AS F#$&!”

Personally I’d be more interested in watching you rebuild the stock engine. I’ve watched all of Mighty Car Mod’s videos and have lost a lot of interest in the show mainly due to the fact that they seem to focus more and more on engine swaps and dyno tuning nowadays which was entertaining the first time they did it. I’m more interested in the practicality of rebuilding a stock engine, and to be honest, for the amount of money that you’d be investing, I don’t think you’ll see a return. However, in terms of broadening your viewing demographics, it would make you more popular amongst the Australians and Subaru enthusiasts, and i’m sure you’d go into more detail than Mighty Car Mods.

Is anybody else experiencing this problem? There are some posts where the post is cut off halfway into it. For example:

“Some of my favorite tools ar”

Pittsburgh 2 1/2 ton rapid pump floor jack, 17″ breaker bar, 9 piece craftsman metric wrench set, not the professional series as those are too small for my hand. I prefer the bulkier ones. Going to look at some Klein tools today.

Also, I didn’t even think about this but Craftsman tools at Sears in the States are MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than Canada. Unbelievable. The 9 piece wrench set I bought was only $18, whereas Sears Canada were selling them for $80.

Salvage yard is the only suggestion I have. Sorry to hear about that.

Yeah, i’m doing this as more of a temporary repair as I do plan to install a new fuel line in the future, but I needed the car and didn’t have time to do the whole line. I would have flared it but the space was so tight and I had to cut it further down the line, more than I wanted to, so the line wouldn’t even reach the filter. And those filters are a pain in the ass to replace.

Thanks for the help guys. I did fix the issue. What I did was I went to the scrap yard and got an old filter with the fitting and the line still attached, then I cut the line on my car, then got a fuel hose and attached the two lines together using a couple of clamps. It was at a very awkward angle where I couldn’t flare the line to just attach it to the filter, but so far so good with this method. No leaks!
