The battery connection is fine. Like I said, the car runs, as far as I can tell, absolutely fine once it’s started. It’s so aggravating having to worry about whether or not it will not start randomly, because of the time I have to let it sit, when that does happen. There are usually several things that point you in one direction, but I essentially have one, that leads me in several. Thanks for all the input. If I get this figured out, I’ll let everyone know what the result was.

No check engine light, so I haven’t bothered trying to pull a code. The battery is almost brand new, about 6 months old.
From what I’ve read about similar issues, there’s always ‘something’ that people see that I do not, in their list of symptoms. The car has never stalled out or died on me, only failed to crank over.
