I have used both and again never got to the point where i had issues from a lubrication standpoint with a car.
I drive an 09 accord coupe 4 cyl which is notoriously easy on oil from a standpoint of it holding up to the mileage my maintenance minder givss me (about 7 to 8k till 15%)

I think the only way to debunk anything is to use the oil you want to use for a few changes and then at your oil change send a sample to a place like blackstone labs…then gauge your oci from that or if it looks like a different weight/ brand would do better change to it and then run another sample after two changes(to make sure you got the residual out)

till you do that, and every engine driver is different, i dont think you can really argue the point either way

I know this is old but i am a home diy guy.. i can appreciate both harbor freight and snap on.

like the previous guy put buying anything by the piece is gonna be a TON compared to a nice starter set of any brand. another thing i didnt see brought up is these guys are hustling in a shop there not going to want to leave work and drive to the mall to warranty a craftsman item when their tool guy comes right to the door to do it for them.

Some things i believe a home guy can use a cheaper version…some not one of my favorite tools is this and imho It is the BEST made item in this category

ANother one that i couldnt beleive how expensive it was(not snappy) but was like
night and day compared to anything else ive ever used was my knipex needle nose

Also with some air tools and “master sets” ie bearing kits 4wd service kits etc the tool truck brands are sometimes rebadged items that are significantly more expensive,
you can check this thread if your looking at buying first and see the equivelants.

your telling me usaa doesnt have a 1800 number to add a car or a website to add a car to your policy? i know progressive you can do it anytime you can even put all the info to see what your premiums gonna rise to then go ahead and execute and they will send you a pdf to print out good for 14 days in case you get pulled over.
dont just drive it thinking your existing policy will cover it…they wills screw you over if you have a wreck trust me

just did a quick google search call them and see what is required to get this its only 9 bucks …but dont know if you can do this beforehand or if you need to get one in the state you buy it from
