I use the Mechanix Fast Fit gloves all the time. They’re thin enough to use all day and seem to hold up well, but when I do oil changes I usually wear generic Harbor Freight Nitrile gloves so I dont cover my Mechanix gloves in oil.

Personally I’d never run a viscosity of oil that your engine isn’t specifically designed to run. Engineers that design these engines come up with what viscosity works best in each specific engine and using anything else could invite other issues in the future and could lead to more premature wear. Just my 2 cents.

They’re good cars. My cousin had the 2.3 and had zero issues with it. I got a 2012 (2.5) last year and I love it too. They get great gas mileage too.

I used Monroe Economatic (the cheaper version of the quick struts) and they’ve been great so far. Very inexpensive and seem pretty well built and theres no compressing springs involved.

Thats actually a good idea. I’ll have to try that. Yes of course I used jack stands whenever I jack up anything. I’ll have to build some wooden pads to put the jack and stands on. Thanks
