Thank you guys for the replies. It doesn’t leak any PS fluid at all and like I said the steering feels fine but those inner tie rods move easily. I haven’t drove it since I noticed the boots were torn. I had a guy come out and do my exhaust because I hate doing it, I have a gravel driveway and he only charged me $100 to throw the cat back on. Watching him struggle made me thankful I paid the $100. I look under there all the time and those boots were always fine. I tore the boots off and it was all shiny metal and grease. No dirt or gunk which makes me think he tore them but I’m not blaming someone without proof. Both inner tie rods are super loose. Some may have did me a favor if he did do that. They don’t clunk but you can move them in any direction with your pinky finger. So I’m pretty sure they’re shot. Im going to replace the inner tie rods and boots. the outer ones i just replaced like a year ago they’re still tight so I think I’ll reuse those. The guy that did my exhaust said I needed a new rack but I just questioned it because like you said it’s not leaking fluid and my steering feels fine. It’s just clunky when i go over bumps. I replaced both upper control arms, both lower, both struts, lower ball joints all about 2 years ago. The only thing in the suspension i didn’t change were the inner rods. So im going to give that a shot, get an alignment and hope for the best. If there’s any “tips” you have I will gladly take them. I know it’s pretty straightforward but I always like to ask. I’m just a DIY guy that doesn’t want to dump a ton of money in it if I don’t have to. It only has 160K on it. It’s been great to me. Besides the hydraulics (brake and clutch MC and the clutch slave cylinder) that’s all I’ve had to do to it in 8 years besides routine maintenance and worn suspension parts. Thank you guys again and thanks Eric for all the videos and help I’ve gotten from you over the years.

It’s not my daily so it’s been sitting. When I do drive it now it takes a few key turns to start, It just stalls out. It’s starting to randomly sputter also when i cruise mainly when i let off the gas. It has about 70-80K miles on the belt. I’ll let you know how it all turns out. I just purchased your VManual on how to do it. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Thank you so much for responding and all of your help! I really appreciate it!
