Eric just did this on my odyessy today. Fortunately we don’t have the rust issues here in Houston that some of you have up north. So I had no problems with the stabilizer link bolt etc. Couldn’t have done it without your video to guide me. Thanks!!!!!!! Brian

I enjoy all of the Eric the Car Guy videos, but for me this one seemed like a vintage ETCG video. It shows us some tricks of the trade, and the problem-solving that is needed to be a good technician.

I never realized polarity was so important. Good to know. I saw some suggest that you could use a battery to find positive side of the speaker, cool tip. Couldn’t you use a powerprobe or something to find the positive wire from the car? Thanks for the videos! Brian

Hey Eric – I know you are a fan of Edd China too. I’ve seen him put “copper grease” on the back of disc pads when he does a brake job. (I think that’s the same as antisieze). What are your thoughts on this? He says it reduces braking noice, I think. Thx

Hey Eric – Do you think that was a 16mm bolt or a 5/8? I can remember working at Brake Check in the 1980s and I didn’t even own a set of metric wrenches. It was a long time ago, and my memory is hazy, so I may have really needed one.

If there is a way you identify if a bolt is SAE or metric please share it. I’d love to know. Brian.
