Hey Eric! Hope as is well! I’m excited to hear that farimount fire up. My question is I have a 97 Silverado with a 5.7. It seems to be going through fuel pumps quite often I have put 4 in the last 5 years. Any ideas of why that would be happening? I always check the fuse first and relay and they’ve always been good. Thanks Eric and stay dirty!

Hey Eric, long time fan. I’m really looking forward to the farimont getting done. My question is i have a 1989 Camaro with a 305 tbi. I’m thinking about doing a “ls swap” but I’m not sure what transmission to use cause obviously I can’t use the factory transmission it won’t excatly hold up. You think I could use the same drivetrain with the ls or If it’s even worth it. Any suggestions would help thanks and stay dirty!

Hey Eric! Hope everything is good. My question is I have a 1962 chevy truck with a inline 6. I have replaced the gas, fuel lines, carburetor, plugs and wires, fuel pump and filter, and it still will die after 2 or 3 miles. I’m incredibly frustrated any advice would be awesome. Thanks eric. Hey Eric! Hope all is well. I’m excited for new farmount videos! My question is I have a 1997 Silverado with a 5.7. I recently noticed the exhaust manifold gaskets are shot, from past experiences if you break one of those bolts off, well you have a nightmare on your hands. I’m about 99% sure that the manifold bolts have never been out just by an overall glance they look extremely rusty. Would you suggest replacing the gaskets or would you think it would be fine just leaving it. I thought maybe using a torch would help things but I don’t really have access to one. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you for what you do and stay dirty!

Hey Eric! Been a fan since the beginning. I’m so excited to hear Oliver start up for the first time! I have a 1997 Silverado with a 5.7. I have recently noticed my exhaust manifold gaskets are shot there is terrible exhaust leaks all around that area on both sides. I was wondering if it’s worth replacing those cause my manifold bolts have probably have never been out and they are extremely rusty. I know those bolts break really easy and it’s a nightmare if you do break them. Is it ok if I just leave it or would you suggest I replace the gaskets? Thanks Eric. And remember stay dirty!

Hey Eric! I’ve been a fan of your show since the beginning. I’m excited to hear Oliver start up for the first time! My question do you have any experience with after market remote start systems. I’ve heard they mess with your ignition system, I’ve heard they are a waste of money. I have also heard they were the best thing they ever invested in. I’ve Been thinking about putting one on my truck but idk if it’s worth the money. Any tips would help thank you! Remember stay dirty! P.S. my apologies for posting two questions I couldn’t figure out how to delete one of them.

Hey Eric! love your videos! I’m looking forward to the farimont being done! I have a 1997 Silverado with A 5.7 liter. I recently noticed that the service engine light does not come on at all not even when you just turn the key but not start it, there’s nothing ,the weird thing is all the other lights come on. Is it possible for the light to burn out? Or do you think the computer is in “dummy” mode? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you for what you do and stay dirty! P.s. My daughter watches your video in the fixing it forward series when you are repairing Barbara’s van where you say “thank you Chrysler I’ll take another one” over and over! For some reason she thinks it’s the funniest thing the world!
