Still original timing position ,i never touch it since i bought this car brand new , even the distributor same position,the only thing i change is the distributor cap and rotor a yr ago.
Isnt to check the timing the rpm has to be 700 in park or neutral? I cant get into that rangeadjustment starts in page 37 (ec37) thanks
Attachments:egr works fine, the relearn procedure didn’t do anything,i guessed its not applicable to Altima,but I do have this pdf file(8gb) about 2001 Altima engine control system and its contain idle adjustment but I don’t understand it, maybe if I upload here you or someone can explain better,thanks
In the diagram …The only suction vaccum is the hose thats coming from the intake manifold connected to egr solenoid valve’s lower port, and nothing else according in diagram.
and also theres no changes in idle speed when i disconnect hoses from egr valve, erg-bpt valve,Attachments:And which of the hose or hoses i can verify if theres a vaccum suction in the vaccum routing diagram
Heat is good , no air in the cooling system cuz i open the bleeder when i change the coolant a while back.
About the coolant temp sensor,the radiator fan comes on and off when it reach normal temp.
What do you mean by egr stuck open position? Is it like the same position when an engine is off /depress inward diaphragm ?
Can you also explain to me how is the vaccum routine starts and end according to the diagram,in order word who gets the suction and goes where? Tytps seems fine, im running out of options.
does an egr supposed to have some movement(diaphragm pulling upward) when I rev to 2500-3000rpm? mine doesn’t move at all and when I pressed t manually it tends to choke/kill the engine. and there’s no suction in the egr tube is this right? tyAttachments:I also found this site about adjustment for a KA24DE engine motor; i guessed its also apply to my vehicle;

Attachments:all checked out idle linkage resting in adj screw, cam swing to lwest point, I took some pics,
one is 800 rpm in drive or reverse,
1100-1200 rpm in park or neutral with tps connected,
1400-1500 rpm in park or neutral with tps disconnectedAttachments:I’m going to check it out now , brb
btw what do you mean by “If I remember correctly, when doing timing you disconnect the TPS (which raises the idle) on my setup” ? tythis is the exactly the same as mine and its selling in ebay,im looking at the “coolant plunger something “where coolant goes in and out ,i dont know if the problem is there somewhere,any comment?
eBay item number: 231589744741Attachments:Also is it (high idle) because of a blowby engine ? I open the oil cap while engine is running and i put a tissue on top and i think my car is suffering from blowby, note new pcv valve was installed less than a year.thanks
