Im 95% sure that 99′ is gen1,’03 is gen 2 and’04 began gen 3. ’06 accord tranny will not bolt on to gen 1 tl ( ’99-’02)

I don’t drive like a grandmother or nascar driver.Torque converter is new. 3 and 4 pressure sensors are new. it has been taken apart twice since the rebuild. I was advised to get remanned and not rebuild. i could not afford reman at the time. the guy that did the work is reputable and cooperative. I still have question about the swap with accord tranny. I’ve done a lot of research and apparently is a good fix. Anyone else hear of this?…Thanks
