I would goto Crutchfield.com. If there is a Dash kit for your car in existance they will be the ones likely to have it.

hmm. that is a strange thing. I had my car broken into as well it was 4 years ago. TWICE in 2 days nonetheless. Anyways one thing you can try is just unplug the speaker? Even if there is a problem generally if you take the load away the problem doesn’t happen. It does sound like a AMP issue though. Behind the passenger front seat is the wiring harness for the amp. Water tends to get in there and stand in the floor pan. There is a orange wire in the harness that splits into two. that can get badly coroded. The result usualy is no sound at all however its a place to look.

wow wysetech I haven’t seen you in awhile. And I’m on the ETCG furms pretty much daily i just don’t sign in unless i have something to ask/say/add. I didn’t bother looking at this LeoTheLion character to see the posts however saying he cannot come back as someone else? That isn’t against the rules here and to ban some one for that sole reason on a forum that does not say one CAN’T come back i think is unjust. IMO if he comes back as long has he behaves I don’t see a problem with it. Can’t tell me after a Karma that low that he didn’t look over his posts and see what it was he did, I’m surprised his posts would even still be here. You would thing someone with that bad of a Karma rating would surely have pretty much all traces of their existance wiped off the site. Why keep the posts up of a Member if they were that bad?
P.S. When I said that T.K was being biased i was refering to THIS thread by the OP. I was not making my statement on who this LeoTheLion was nor that the statement was made by TK about this person.
My statement was made on this RETURNED person this Matthew2014 who used to be LeoTheLion. When this person came back as Matthew2014 I didn’t see anything they did wrong. I was specifically saying what TK said about Matthew2014 to be biased and unjust for the face the when this person came back they didn’t do anything. They didn’t revert to their old ways, Offered legit and knowledgeable advice, and asked Legit questions. Therefore I based my statement on the fact that TK judged this person based on the past of what they did as a different username NOT what they did as this username (Matthew2014).

Thanks for the Advice Jinzo, I’ll make sure the follow that next time i am asked to fix a friend’s computer. I gotta make money somehow charging labor is something i should start doing to friends. Maybe even discounted labor depending on how good of a friend they are.

My Grandpa would have this problem in is 98 S10. He bought a brand new battery one time and the next day it was completely dead. He hooked it to a charger and charged it up he noticed the Dome Lights on and simple just shut them all off. Never had a problem again.
Try turning off all your dome lights so they dont turn on with the doors open. Every roof dome light that i know of has a 3 position switch, OFF|Door|ON. also if your Truck has a Glove Box, Hood or Ashtray lights, make sure they are not staying on.
